If you want to be in your own group, you can book a tailored private tour where we pick you and your friends up from home, take you to the different venues and drop you off at each doorstep individually. Just tell us what you like to do and our friendly team of operators will be able to assist with your itinerary and suggest venues to suit your needs – at no additional charge. Since COVID, Most venues now require customers to book with them directly with a credit card, but if you would like us to arrange itinerary, we are happy to help where we can.

Sample Itinerary - Clare Valley tour (10 hours)

Depart Adelaide bright an early at 8:00am.

Sevenhill Cellars 10:00 – 10:45am
Enjoy distinctive, estate-grown wines at this cellar door, the first winery established in the Clare Valley in 1851. Originally settled to produce sacramental wines, it is now also known for its recognised premium table wines.  

Knappstein Enterprise Winery and Brewery 11:00am – 11:50pm
A visit to this historical venue lets you decide whether to try award winning wines, or their beer – the Knappstein Reserve lager is a premium Bavarian-style beer that is worth a try.

Mr. Mick’s Kitchen 12:00 – 13:30pm
Your lunch stop could be at Mr Mick’s Kitchen, known for their tapas-style approach. Great for sharing a number of small dishes with friends and family.
Extend your time here for an additional wine tasting, if you like.

Skillogalee Winery 13:55 – 14:45
Not only known for their very popular Rieslings, Skillogalee was the first winery in this region to open a winery restaurant, which has been awarded multiple times for its superb food.  This winery has also won Australia's Best Cellar Door Awards three times in a row since 2015.

Mitchell Wines 14:50 – 16:00
Before you head back to Adelaide, why not try this renowned Riesling producer and boutique family owned winery. Other wines include intensely flavoured red wines from Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache.

Relax and unwind on your almost two-hour drive back to Adelaide or stay overnight in one of the local accommodations. How about the Clare Valley Country Club, one of our partners?

Sample Itinerary - Barossa Wine Tour (8 hour tour)

Depart Adelaide at 8:45am.

Kies Winery 10:00 - 10:45am
Kies Winery is a lovely family operated winery in the South of the Barossa Valley and ideal if you are after a more personal approach. Enjoy the taste of reds, whites, sweets and fortified in a friendly atmosphere.Or have stroll through their exquisite gourmet café and quaint tea / coffee shop where delicious food and beverages are offered. 

Langmeil Winery 11:15am - 12:00pm
Next stop could be the scenic Langmeil Winery, which again is a family operated winery.The family will introduce you to some of their great wines and you can hear about the history of their path to success. 

Maggie Beer's Pheasant Farm 12:15 - 12:45pm
We can then take you to the iconic maggie Beer's Pheasant Farm, where you can work your way around the shop sampling some of the exquisite local produce. You may even decide to purchase something here to have with your lunch. 

Tanunda for lunch 13:00 - 14:00
If you don't like to arrange a fancy lunch, we can take you to Tanunda, where you can stroll through the boutique stores and cafes and make your choice for lunch, the famous Tanunda Bakery, for example, is a popular option. Many wineries also offer delicious food a la carte or set menus for larger groups, some of them have beautiful platters to share between two or more people. 

Wolf Blass Visitor Centre 14:15 - 15:00
Wolf Blass Visitor Centre is an innovative force within the Australian wine industry. Let your taste buds tingle from some of their iconic wines...you won't want to leave.

Z Wines 15:15 - 16:00
Z Wines was founded over 160 years ago and could be the last stop for the day. Try wines that are hand crafted in small batches, where bottles are still individually numbered, so you know you are trying and purchasing a unique product. 

On the way home you can relax and reminisce about the day, before we get back into town by approximately 5:00pm. 

Try some sight-seeing options or include more action by visiting the Whispering Wall or Barossa Helicopters. 
Or extend your tour and make a weekend trip out of it. There is plenty of accommodation such as the Barossa Weintal - one of our partners - located in Tanunda, the heart of the Barossa Valley.

Depart Adelaide CBD at 09:15am

Visit popular Nepenthe Wines, where premium international acclaimed award winning wines can be sampled. Also available is a selection of older vintage wines exclusive to cellar door and great value for money cleanskin wines. 

Sidewood Estate 11:00 - 11:45
Here you can sample a range of wines plus their famous apple or pear cider, in Sidewood's new luxurious Tasting Room, lounge, wine bar and private dining space in the Adelaide Hills.

Hahndorf 12:00 - 13:30
After a stimulating wine tasting experience we can take you to the oldest surviving German settlement Hahndorf, where you can stroll along the main road and visit various boutique stores and cafés for lunch.  

Adelaide Hills Wine Bar 13:45 - 14:30
When After lunch, we can take you to the famous Wolf Blass Adelaide Hills Wine Bar, where many local wines are represented, offering you a broad range of wines to try from.

Grunthal Brew & Hesketh  Wine 14:45 - 15:30
To end the day we can stop at the ultimate, new local hang out and tourism destination for craft beer, delicious gin, artisan cheese, local wine, tasty food and good times. Grunthal is the home to Grunthal Craft Beer & Cider, as well as Grunthal Gin, Hesketh Wines and Udder Delights Cheese. Try one of their many tasting experiences, or sit back with a drink and/or a delicious local cheese platter.

We would drop you off in the CBD at about 4:15pm.

Want to include some food sampling and more sight-seeing? Try Melba's Chocolate Factory, Woodside Cheese Wrights, or allow some extra time in Hahndorf to browse through the local shops. 

Sample Itinerary - McLaren Vale Wine Tour (7.5 hour tour)

Depart Adelaide CBD at 9:00am

Wirra Wirra Wines 10:00 - 10:45
Wirra Wirra is a warm and friendly place to start your day and enjoy the new releases, museum wines and cellar door exclusives, including their famous award winning "Church Block".

Kangarilla Road Wines 11:00 - 11:50                                                                                                                                                                                                             A modern new tasting room with expansive views across the vineyards to the sea, Kangarilla Road is the perfect stop to relax with a glass of wine or taste through their vast range of elegant wines.

Main Road, McLaren Vale 12:00 - 13:00
Why not have a walk through the Main Rd of McLaren Vale where you can you can satisfy your individual taste buds in various boutique cafes or restaurants for lunch?  There is the Tinshed Cafe with pizzas and burgers, Carmels Bar and Grill for delicious steaks, Asian cuisine, nice pub meals at the McLaren Vale Hotel and much more. 

Parri Estate 13:15 - 14:00
After the lunch break the tour can continue on to the Parri Estate where you can enjoy the picturesque grounds set amongst old vines and shady trees. With a large range of estate grown wines, pizzas and regional platters, there is sure to be something to suit everyone

Red Poles 14:15 - 15:00
At the end of the day we stop at Red Poles winery where a variety of delicious wines, beers, gins & liqueurs may be tasted or purchased. Take the opportunity to wind down in the beautifully set café with a nice relaxing coffee while you reminisce on the day.

We get be back to Adelaide at approximately 4:15pm.

Sample Itinerary - Urban Brunch Wine Tour

Depart your and your friends places in the morning to take you to:

The National Wine Centre
Enjoy a versatile brunch and tastings, or join the self-guided Wine Discovery Journey to learn more about the world of wine. This award-winning state-of-the-art interactive experience will inform you about everything from winemaking to the enjoyment of drinking it. 

Penfolds Magill Estate
Take the Magill Estate Heritage Tour and immerse yourself in the rich history of one of Australia's oldes wineries. This tour takes you through the original working winery, the vineyards and uncovers historic tales about the premises. Complete this experience with a wine tasting of The Penfolds Collection and limited Cellar Reserve Range at their cellar door. Finish the day after this experience or include another venue.

Amadio wines
If you like to keep going, you could visit Amadio Wines' cellar door in Felixstow. Try their award-winning wines, many of which include grapes of Italian heritage. 

We will take you home after the last visit has finished while you reminisce about the day. 

Beer Tour

There are many places to enjoy nice beer in and around Adelaide. In this itinerary we will take you to some breweries in the Adelaide Hills. 

Prancing Pony Brewery
You can start the day early-ish with a 10:00 departure from the Adelaide area and experience beers at this popular brewery. Try it by the glass or choose between three guided tasting options: You can try six of their beers on their own, or include a brewery tour, or include both a brewery tour and regional platters to enjoy with your drinks. Prices start at $20.00pp. 

Gulf Brewery & Hahndorf
The next stop could take you to Gulf Brewery in Hahndorf. Choose to try their beers, or have a look around in town first and enjoy a nice lunch in one of the many local pubs that are renown for their sumptuous meals. There are the Hahndorf Inn, the German Arms or the Haus for Hearty German cuisine, but there are many others such as Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants, as well as countless cafes. 

Lobethal Bierhaus
Try the Lobethal Bierhaus and enjoy the views of the brewery from the restaurant/pub area. They have 12 different beers, all produced inhouse of which you can try some in a beer paddle. They also have a food menu, so you can swap around the itinerary, start your day here with a tasting and have lunch afterwards.
