Like so many other businesses Covid-19 hit us hard earlier this year. It has been a tough few months since the start and we are slowly starting to get busier. With taking care of groups of passengers from all ages and stages of life comes great responsibility to make sure travel with us is safe.

Your safety is our top priority. Below is an overview of what we are currently doing to stop the pontential spread.

Best and safest possible service
With so many passengers from different stages in their lives travelling on our buses we understand how important it is to be safe and understanding of people’s circumstances. We offer flexible and tailored services for any requirements you have and follow guidelines as well as best practice protocols to ensure your safety on our buses. Safety comes first!

Contactless and digital
All our bookings are organised over the phone or via email, with payments required via credit card or EFT prior to travel as well. We don’t accept any cash payments.
And another level of service that we have always offered and that’s contactless on the day of travel: our drivers will open the doors for you; on our 7 and 13 seat buses they will do so manually, whereas our 21 and 24 seat buses have automatic doors.

High standard of hygiene protocols
All our staff and drivers have been instructed to adhere to a higher standard of hygiene protocols than they used to before the pandemic, e.g. washing hands more frequently. We have also been providing hand sanitiser on all our buses for you to use. In fact, we like them so much they will remain a standard product on our buses post Covid-19 and we are currently installing proper mounted racks for the sanitiser bottles throughout our entire fleet.

Enhanced touch point cleaning
In addition to our regular standard cleaning, we have increased the cleaning of all high touch points in our vehicles. After every job these key areas are cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes and Glen 20 is sprayed throughout the entire vehicle, trailer and other baggage storage areas.

Current COVID advice
We closely monitor all updates on Covid-19 developments through the media, the Adelaide Convention Bureau and the Tourism Industry Council SA to make sure we provide a safe travel environment when you are on one of our buses. If you are unsure as to how many people can travel on a bus, what the distancing rules are or what venues are open for your group bookings, we will be happy to provide advice and help with your travel plans.

Contact Tracing
As per SA Health guidelines we ask for full passenger lists on all our bookings. This is purely for contact tracing should a new case of Covid-19 arise. This information will be kept on record for 90 days after your travel before being deleted from our system. It will not be used for any other purposes.

If you have any questions about our Covid-19 measures or recent restrictions for travel on buses, please contact us on 8440 1600 or via the contact form.

It is a COVID-SECURE plan that puts on display SA’s exemplary end-to-end health and safety measures from the moment business event guests arrive in Adelaide until they depart. It is valid for all sectors and was created in a true ‘Team Adelaide’ spirit. Our safety measures align with their guidelines.
